This policy explains how Kodin (getkodin.com) uses information when you visit the website, click download or signup, or request a demo.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-DGB25ZEM0X) to understand how the site is used. IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics is used to count visits and button clicks — not to identify you personally.

Click events we record

These events are sent to Google Analytics when you click or complete an action. They do not include your name or email:

• file_download — Windows or macOS download button (counts how many downloads were started, and which platform)
• sign_up_start — Student Signup opened (name and email form)
• sign_up — Student account created successfully
• demo_open — Request Demo opened
• generate_lead — Demo request submitted successfully

Student signup (name and email)

Student Signup asks only for your full name and email address so we can create a Kodin account and send login credentials. That information is sent to Kodin's signup service — it is not sent to Google Analytics.

Demo requests

Request Demo collects contact details (such as name, email, institution, and role) so we can schedule a walkthrough. Those details are not sent to Google Analytics; Analytics only records that a demo was opened or submitted.

Downloads

The Windows and macOS download buttons fire a file_download event so we can count how many people start a download and whether they chose Windows or macOS. We do not attach your name or email to that count.

Cookies

Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish sessions. You can block analytics cookies in your browser, use a tracking-protection extension, or Google's browser opt-out add-on.
